Trust is what is left over after you have done things. You said you would send it Tuesday and it came Tuesday. You followed up without being chased. You named your own weak spot before anyone else found it. Do that for a year and the person trusts you. There is nothing you can write, no tone you can adopt and no persona you can build that gets you there faster, and trying makes it worse, because a reader can feel somebody working at seeming trustworthy.
